When you use Scriptophobia, you're likely to give us two types of personal information - Account Information such as your name and email addrss (see "What we collect from you and how" below) and we need this to run your account. The other type is Account Content which is infomration you choose to upload to your account. In relation to any personal data in your Account Information, Scriptophobia (we) will be the data controller for the purposes of the Data protection Act 1998 (the Act) and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (the GDPR). In relation to your Account Content, since it'll be you rather than us who will generally decide what you add to your account and how you use it, we won't normally be a data controller in resepct of that information.

INFORMTATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU. We may record details of your visits to the site. We do this so we can see how well Scriptophobia is working and what needs imporoving. We collect information such as your IP address, the type of browser or operating system you're using, your location, and the pages you visit. We also receive data from the computer, mobile phone, or other device(s) you use to access Scriptophobia.

We se a number of trusted suppliers and service providers to help provide our service to you. We may need to disclose your personal data to them but will only do so to the extent that is necessary for them to be able to provide the serivces we, and you, require.

HOW WE STORE AND PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
All information you provide us is stored on our secure servers housed by our trusted co-location data centre.
Currently the trusted co-location data centre we use is in Canada (CAD) but this may change in the future. Rest assured, we'll let you know of any change to our arrangements in this respect. By submitting your personal data, you agree to it being transferred to, stored and processed outside the EAA and Canada for the purposes of providing you with your Scriptophibia account. We will always aim to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the rules set out under Canadian law or alternatively in accordance with other national or international legislation, systems, or contractual provisions which are recognised by all countries, including the European Union, as being adequate to safeguard your personal data.
